Return and Refund Policy
At The Tile Garden, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of every mahjong rack and tile set we offer. We hope your purchase brings you joy at the table, but if it doesn’t meet your expectations, we’re happy to help.
You have 15 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must be in the same condition as when received — unused, unplayed, and still in their original packaging and wrapping.
For tile sets, this means the shrink wrap around the tiles must remain fully intact. Once the shrink wrap has been opened or removed, the set is not eligible for return.
A receipt or proof of purchase is required with all returns.
How to Request a Return
To start a return, please email us at laura@thetilegarden.com. We’ll provide you with instructions and confirm that your item qualifies for return.

Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
When we receive your return in its original, undamaged packaging, we’ll issue a full refund within 10 business days.
If the product is returned without its original packaging, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us right away so we can review the issue and make it right promptly.
Non-Returnable Items
Please note the following items cannot be returned:

If you’re unsure whether your purchase qualifies, we encourage you to reach out before starting a return.
Exchanges
To receive a different product, the quickest option is to return your original item and place a new order once your return has been accepted.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please keep in mind that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
